Purchased twoi of these in black in the past and rigged them up to be gifts for classic retro gaming enthusiasts. Add new sd cards with a custom firmware with curated collections of games and you've got an excellent gift for its price and overall function. This time around i've got two red colored items, both of which will end up as gifts... as i've already got an extensive handhelds collection for myself.
At any rate, only caveat with the gb-300 is the screen appears rather dim with no brightness settings to increase it. As a result, the overall image quality on-screen appears a bit washed out and can only really be used indoors for playing on. Small price to pay for the entertainment it provides, particularly to those people who own nothing like it and then suddenly do. I can certainly recommend one of these devices, but only if you're willing to put in a few hours of work to fully customize it.
It works really well and has tons of fun games on it i got it as a gift for my sister and she loved it so much i might get myself one
